One person was arrested and charged after a shooting near Clark lane Saturday morning.

One woman was shot and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

28-year-old Darrius Davis of Columbia was arrested in connection to the shooting.

According to the probable cause statement, police found eight shell casings inside the apartment. The victim told police that her boyfriend had been fighting an unknown group of men when she was shot according to court records.

Davis is charged with second-degree domestic assault, first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon among some other charges.

A docket hearing is scheduled for August 11 for Davis. Davis also has a preliminary hearing on Sept. 13.
