UPDATE: Man charged with a double homicide in Osage County

OSAGE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Chamois man was charged in connection with a double homicide at a residence in Osage County.

Around noon on Saturday, two individuals were found dead in a yard in Osage County.

The Osage County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence in the county for a report of two individuals found laying in their yard.

Crews arrived finding that both were deceased.

On Sunday, the individuals were identified as Leonard Gerloff, age 59 and Pauline Gerloff, age 56 of Chamois.

An investigation led to an arrest of 62-year-old Warren Taylor. Taylor was taken into custody Saturday around 10 p.m.

Taylor is currently being held without bond in the Osage County Jail where he is charged with murder in the first degree and two counts of armed criminal action.
