Two dead in St. Louis after a crash involving a tow truck

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two men are dead after their vehicle crashed into a stopped tow truck along westbound I-70 and then was hit by another vehicle.

Police said the vehicle that the two men were riding in struck the tow truck Sunday around 4:15 a.m. Then, the vehicle spun out of control, and both vehicles caught on fire.

The St. Louis Fire Department pulled two men from the first vehicle, and they were taken to a hospital. The two men, who were not immediately identified, died at the hospital.
