Senator Blunt speaks to Columbia Business; discusses national infrastructure
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Senator Roy Blunt stopped by a local business today here in Columbia.
He also spoke to ABC 17 News crews about national infrastructure.
Blunt said he would support a bipartisan infrastructure bill that included funding for broadband programs in America.
Blunt said, "We hoped for… almost every six months in the Trump administration the next thing we were going to do was a big bipartisan infrastructure bill. That also didn't happen in eight years of the Obama administration. So we're really, kind of twelve years behind."
Internet access and infrastructure, in general, has been a battle the senator says he's been fighting for years.
