SATURDAY STORM & FLOODING UPDATES: Photo and video gallery
COLUMBIA, Mo.
According to Boone County Office of Emergency Management, a flash flood warning is issued until 6:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Multiple areas of Boone County are still underwater and as of 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, MoDOT reported 206 roads closed in the state due to flooding. You can find a link to their Traveler Map here.
One water rescue along West Route K along Katy Trail Saturday morning was successful. The rescue was completed around 4 a.m. after the individual driving the car believed he was driving onto a gravel road but instead went into the water. Fire crews on scene said they believe the car is stuck in four to five feet of water.
Wires can be seen on the ground at Old Plank Road and Bethel Cartridge Road on Saturday morning. The area is blocked off by caution tape to warn drivers.
ABC 17 News crews got video of Rock Bridge Memorial State Park on Friday night and saw fast flowing floodwaters.
