Tracking more severe storms for Thursday evening
TONIGHT: Another round of storms are bubbling up now and will slide southeast overnight. Damaging winds hail, isolated tornadoes, and flash flooding look to be the biggest threats with this round. Lows will hold in the middle 70’s. For the latest on these storms throughout the evening, head over to our Insider Blog.
TOMORROW: Stormy conditions will stick around for the morning commute, but they are expected to clear by late morning. Another round of storms for the afternoon will be aided by daytime heating tomorrow. Again, we're tracking the potential for severe weather with this second round of storms, and we have extended our weather alert day through tomorrow evening.
EXTENDED: It’s looking like the front responsible for firing today and tomorrow's storm chances will stall out this weekend. That means more rain Saturday and Sunday. Flooding will be a concern, that we might be dealing with as early as Friday morning, but will be a continued threat. The chance for rain will back off a bit but will still be there as that front washes out next week. Highs will be capped in the middle 80’s.
