Mizzou hoops matchup at Kansas officially scheduled

LAWRENCE, Kan. (KMIZ)

The Kansas basketball team officially announced its non-conference schedule on Tuesday, and one game stood out among the rest. The Mizzou basketball team will make its return to Allen Fieldhouse on Dec. 11.

The Border War was supposed to return in Dec. of 2020, but it was canceled due to the pandemic. That game was scheduled to take place at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.

Mizzou and Kansas have met 267 times, dating back to 1907. KU leads the all-time series 172-95.

The two teams last met in the Showdown for Relief exhibition in 2017. They haven't played in a regular season game since Feb. 25, 2012.
