TUESDAY UPDATE: Cole County to adds coronavirus vaccine sites with mobile pantry locations

Cole County will be adding more locations at mobile pantry locaitons in the month of June.

Cole County’s COVID-19 vaccination rate is approximately 39%. COVID19 vaccines are currently available at least fourteen locations in Cole County.

Community Health Center of Central Missouri will be providing FREE COVID vaccinations in conjunction with the Cole County Mobile Pantries indicated below. Please Note: If you received the first of two shots at a May Mobile Pantry, the second shot will be provided at the same corresponding June Mobile Pantry.

Nearly half of all Boone County residents have received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine

The Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services is reporting 11 new COVID-19 cases.

There are currently 58 active cases in the county.

The county now has a reported total number of COVID-19 cases of 18,595.

The county has reported the total number of cases removed from isolation is 18,420.

The Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services dashboard has reported the latest five-day average as 7.6.

The health department has moved the Boone County hospital status to yellow.

The health department is reporting four Boone County residents are in the hospital due to the coronavirus.

There are a total of 30 people hospitalized at a Boone County hospital due to the coronavirus.

The dashboard is showing 18 COVID-19 patients in the ICU and nine patients on a ventilator.

The State of Missouri coronavirus vaccine dashboard is reporting that 88,149 residents have received their first dose in Boone County and 76,732 Boone County residents have completed their vaccine doses.

Boone County has the largest percentage of people in Mid-Missouri that have received at least one dose of the vaccine with 48.8%. The second closest in the state is St. Louis County with 46.6%.

Boone County is first in the state with a reported 42.5% of residents that have completed their coronavirus vaccine doses. St. Charles County is second in the state with 38.8% of residents have completed the doses for vaccination.

Cole County has the second-highest first vaccination rate in Mid-Missouri with 39.1%. Montgomery County is third with 34.8%.
