Crews battle a home fire in Southern Boone County

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Fire crews battled a fire in Southern Boone County on Saturday evening.

The fire happened in the 21000 block of South Slate Creek Road near Hartsburg.

ABC 17 News crews on the scene saw smoke coming from about a mile away. Several firefighters and equipment were on the scene.

It's unclear what caused the fire or if anyone was injured.

No information was given out on the scene.
