Large Jefferson City police presence reported near Broadway

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A large Jefferson City police presence is being reported near the West Dunklin and Broadway.

An ABC 17 News crew on scene reports six police vehicles near the incident.

Lt. David Williams with Jefferson City Police reports the department is investigating a weapons offense on Broadway Street and there is no information to release at this time.

A neighbor told the ABC 17 News crew they heard four gunshots.

ABC 17 News is working to get more information on the situation.
