ORIGINAL:

Police are looking for a suspect after one person was shot Saturday night at the Lake of the Ozarks.

According to Corporal Kyle Green with Troop F of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Morgan County advised Troop F of a shots fired call at Shady Gators bar on the dock around 10:45 p.m. with at least one victim shot in the chest.

Green says the alleged suspect has not yet been detained but is described as having dreadlocks and wearing a blue and white basketball jersey.

Travis Crellin, who is visiting the Lake of the Ozarks this weekend, said he was woken up from a nap by all of the commotion from the incident.

"I woke up to all the sirens and there was a lot of cops," Crellin said. "I'm from California so I'm used to shootings in California but there was a lot of sirens and it was going on for a long time."

Crellin says he saw a bunch of people trying to leave Shady Gators property.

"I came outside and that's when the whole hurry was coming out," Crellin said. "There was a lot of arguments, there was a lot of fussing, a lot of mad people [and] a lot of confusion."

Law enforcement left the scene a little after 2:30 a.m.
