Wilkes Boulevard back open after injury crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Wilkes Boulevard at Paris Road is back open after a two vehicle crash sent one person to the hospital Saturday afternoon.

Fire officials say the crash happened around 10 a.m. at Wilkes Blvd. and Paris Rd. in Columbia.

Fire crews extricated one individual from a car in the crash.

That person was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Paris Road was closed down for about 45 minutes.
