Two people charged after alleged assault in Jefferson City Aldi’s parking lot

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two people are charged after an alleged assault in the parking lot of an Aldi.

According to court documents, the victim asked Jesssica Barton and Mikael Tice for a ride. The three people traveled to Aldi's when the victim got out of the vehicle and Tice got out of the vehicle and allegedly assaulted the victim in the face. The victim fell to the ground and lost a shoe and a phone.

The victim then ran into the Aldi's and the two suspects then drove off with the shoe and phone according to court documents.

Police report finding the vehicle and stopping it.

According to court documents, Tice told police that him and Barton traveled to meet the victim to allegedly buy meth.

Both are charged with second degree robbery and delivery of drugs.

Both were given no bond.

Tice will be arraigned on Friday. No court date has been scheduled for Barton.
