CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Raymore woman is recovering from serious injuries after being thrown from a UTV Saturday night.

Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports show it happened around 6:25 p.m. on Woodland Drive, just one mile east of Red Fox Drive.

That's when 56 year old Elizabeth Trussell drove a UTV off the roadway, over corrected and flipped, throwing her from the vehicle.

Trussell was not wearing a safety device and suffered serious injuries.

MU Health Care Air Medical Services flew Trussell to University Hospital in Columbia.
