Mizzou softball standout earns third freshman of the week honors
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Mizzou softball standout Jenna Laird earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors for the third time this season on Tuesday afternoon.
The New York native drove in the game-winning run on Sunday to clinch a three-game series sweep over Mississippi State. Laird went 6-for-13 in MU's four games last week. She hit two home runs and finished with five RBI.

Up next - Mizzou will host UMKC on Wednesday at 3 p.m. The Tigers are 32-10 overall and 10-5 in the SEC.
