One man arrested after robbery and assault in Downtown Columbia

(COLUMBIA, MO) - 

The Columbia Police Department arrested one man after a breaking up a fight in Downtown Columbia.

Just before midnight on Saturday, Columbia Police say officers went to a reported assault on the 1000 block of East Broadway. 

Police say officers arrested 37-year-old Terrance D. Reid of Columbia for the charges of second degree robbery and resisting arrest. 

On the scene, officers reported to break up a fight between Reid and another man After investigating, officers learned that the suspect had robbed the victim of an undisclosed amount of cash. 

Reid is being held at the Boone County.
