No. 19 Mizzou softball run-rules No. 17 LSU

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The No. 19 Mizzou softball team run-ruled No. 17 LSU 9-1 in five innings on Friday night.

"That was awesome," Head coach Larissa Anderson said after the big win. "That was so much fun to watch them."

Mizzou and LSU are scheduled to play again on Saturday at 2 p.m., but there are contingency plans in place if the game gets rained out.

Also on Friday night - the Mizzou baseball team knocked off No. 11 South Carolina on the road. The Tigers beat the Gamecocks 7-2. They'll play again on Saturday at 3 p.m.
