Leila Mitchell
Leila joined ABC 17 News in March 2021.
She is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Leila attended Penn State University where she studied journalism and criminal justice. During her time at Penn State she was a news and sports reporter for Comm Radio and a field reporter and producer for the Centre County Report.
One of Leila’s favorite things to do is try new and unique foods. Her favorite food is sushi. She enjoys traveling to Europe and her favorite place to go is France. Leila is fascinated by crime, crime news and studying why criminals make the choices they make.
