88 pounds of meth seized during I-70 traffic stop in Saline County

SALINE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

After stopping a vehicle on Monday for a traffic violation, a state trooper found 88 pounds of meth, a gun and $5,505 in cash.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop A, a traffic stop occurred on Interstate 70 in Saline County.

A probable cause search revealed the meth, gun and cash.

Officials report three people are in custody. The names have not been released.
