Sentencing hearing scheduled for fatal 2019 Columbia shooting

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A sentencing hearing is scheduled next month in a deadly 2019 Columbia shooting.

Aaron Harris pled guilty late last month to first-degree involuntary manslaughter in the death of E'quan Spain.

He's expected to get sentenced at 9 a.m. on May 20th.

Investigators say Harris was driving a car when Michael Anderson accidentally shot Spain in the backseat in 2019.

The men were reportedly getting ready for a gunfight.

Anderson died last year in prison.
