One person dead in Camden County Friday afternoon crash

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

One person is dead after a wreck on Highway 7 south of Velvet Antler road in Camden County Friday afternoon.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report states the driver Ronnie Larson, 31, Camdenton, and William Robinson, 34, of Roach, a passenger was in a 2000 Ford Explorer when it crashed and ejected both men.

According to the report, the Explorer went off the roadway, Larson overcorrected causing the vehicle to overturn, hitting a tree.

Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Larson was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries.
