Columbia police investigate gunfire on Paris Road

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia police investigated a shooting that damaged property Friday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of Paris Road around 1 p.m. At least six patrol vehicles responded to the scene. ABC 17 News crews saw officers searching a grassy area near a home.

Police at the scene confirmed shots were fired. No injuries have been reported. Officers found two vehicles and two homes struck by gunfire.

A suspect description was unavailable. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Columbia Police Department or CrimeStoppers at 573-875-8477 to stay anonymous.
