More than 300 without power after crash in southeast Columbia Sunday night

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Boone Electric Cooperative is reporting a power outage affecting that is now affecting nearly 400 customers on Sunday.

A spokeswoman for the company said a car crash brought down power lines on New Haven Road. The outage originally was affecting more than 1,500 people.

As of 9:45 p.m., 397 customers are without power. The outage map said power to all of the affected customers was restored by 1 a.m.

The company said crews were working to get the lines back up as quickly as possible. It did not immediately provide an update on timing.
