Mizzou wrestling finishes seventh at NCAA Championships

ST. LOUIS (KMIZ)

The Mizzou wrestling team finished in seventh place at the NCAA Championships.

The Tigers had three All-Americans.

165 pounds: Keegan O'Toole - 3rd place

149 pounds: Brock Mauller - 5th place

197 pounds: Rocky Elam - 5th place

Former Mizzou and Tolton standout Jaydin Eierman took second place at 141 pounds. He's now wrestling for Iowa. Despite losing in the finals, he sitll came away a champion. The Hawkeyes won the NCAA Championship with 129 team points.

Also on Saturday - the Mizzou volleyball team beat Texas A&M 3-2 to sweep the weekend series.

The No. 16 Mizzou softball team lost to No. 19 Georgia 14-10.

The Mizzou baseball team lost to Kentucky 5-4.
