Large police presence at north Columbia Waffle House

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

More than a dozen Columbia Police vehicles were seen responding to a scene a north Columbia Waffle House on Vandiver.

ABC17 News crews on the scene saw crime scene tape and several police officers on the scene just after 11 p.m. Sunday night. A ambulance and fire truck were also on the scene.

Crews also reported seeing one person being detained in the parking lot.
