Boone County Fire Protection District responds to shed fire

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Firefighters with the Boone County Fire Protection District responded to a fire at North Davenport Road and J B Lane Sunday morning.

The department says a shed full restored antique vehicles was fully involved when crews arrived.

The building and the vehicles were a total loss. The cost was estimated at $250,000.

"There was a citizen medical issue on scene," said Gale Blomenkamp with the Boone County Fire Protection District.

The fire is under investigation.
