Mizzou wrestling to send all 10 weight classes to NCAA Championships

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The No. 5 Mizzou wrestling team will send all 10 weight classes to the NCAA Championships next week.

That includes the three Mid-Missouri natives on the team - Jeremiah Kent (Hickman), Brock Mauller (Tolton) and Jarrett Jacques (Tolton).

We spoke with head coach Brian Smith and several wrestlers on Thursday ahead of the NCAA Championships. You can hear from them all in the video players below.

Here is the full lineup:

  • 125 pounds - No. 18 Noah Surtin
  • 133 pounds - No. 6 Matt Schmitt
  • 141 pounds - No. 6 Allan Hart
  • 149 pounds - No. 3 Brock Mauller
  • 157 pounds - No. 7 Jarrett Jacques
  • 165 pounds - No. 6 Keegan O'Toole
  • 174 pounds - No. 10 Peyton Mocco
  • 184 pounds - No. 9 Jeremiah Kent
  • 197 pounds - No. 7 Rocky Elam
  • 285 pounds - No. 11 Zach Elam

The NCAA Championships will be held March 18-20 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
