The Cooper County Public Health Center will continue vaccinating Missouri residents Tuesday.

Health officials began the clinic Monday, with the goal of vaccinating 2,000 patients by the end of the day Tuesday.

In a Facebook post, the health center said the vaccination clinic is being held with the Missouri National Guard in the Isle of Capri Casino Hotel's ballroom from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Those looking to get a vaccine are required to register through the Missouri COVID-19 Vaccine Navigator.

The Cooper County Public Health Center says it has given out over 3,000 vaccines in the last six weeks.

ABC 17 News contacted the Cooper County Public Health Center for comment but has yet to hear back.

The state also announced additional clinics in Mid-Missouri scheduled for next week.

In Camden County, the state will hold a vaccine clinic on March 13 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the School of the Osage.

In Pettis County, the state will hold a vaccine clinic on March 9 and 10 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2503 West 16th Street in North Kansas City.
