COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

One person has been taken into custody after a vehicle pursuit that ended outside of Columbia.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop B attempted to stop a vehicle for a registration violation.

Troopers then got into a pursuit with the driver, who has not been identified, on U.S. 63.

Troopers used spike strips to stop the vehicle on the north side of Columbia.
