Fulton man arrested after robbery involving a gun

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Fulton Police arrested Justin L. Weeks, 32, after responding to a robbery Saturday morning.

It happened around 1:24 a.m. when police received a call of a robbery in the 400 block of Canterbury Drive.

According to a press release, the victim told police they were approached by Weeks at Fastlane Amerihost where they agreed to give Weeks a ride. Weeks gave directions to the victim and told them to stop in the 400 block of Canterbury Drive. Weeks pointed a gun at the victim and ordered him out of the vehicle.

Officers arrested Weeks at 11:57 a.m. at an address on Vine Street.

He is facing charges of first-degree robbery, unlawful possession of a firearm and driving while revoked/suspended.

Officers took Weeks to the Callaway County Jail where he is being held on a no bond hold.
