No. 24 Mizzou basketball aims for different result against Ole Miss

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The No. 24 Mizzou basketball team will play Ole Miss for the second time this season on Tuesday at 8 p.m.

The Tigers are hoping for a different result after losing to the Rebels 80-59 in Oxford, Miss. on Feb. 10.

"It was a tough game," said Mizzou basketball assistant coach Marco Harris on Monday morning. "We're looking forward to bouncing back. We're excited about tomorrow."

"I think we're going to focus on being more aggressive," senior guard Drew Buggs said on Monday morning. "I think last time we were getting good looks. We just weren't making the shots."

The Tigers snapped their three-game losing streak with a win on Saturday against South Carolina. MU is now 14-6 overall and 7-6 in the SEC.

"After watching film, we got punched in the mouth when we went there," senior Mitchell Smith said on Monday morning. "With them coming back in here on Tuesday, it gives us a chance to really come out and show them how we play."

Ole Miss comes to Columbia after winning four of its last five games. The Rebels are 12-9 overall and 7-7 in the SEC.
