Tilmon returns ahead of Mizzou’s road matchup against South Carolina

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou big man Jeremiah Tilmon is back with the team and is expected to play on Saturday on the road against South Carolina.

Mizzou basketball coach Cuonzo Martin confirmed the news at his pregame news conference on Friday morning. You can watch the full interview in the video player above.

Tilmon missed MU's last two games following the death of a family member.

The Tigers are coming off three straight losses for the first time this season. After reaching as high as No. 10 in the AP poll, MU has dropped all the way down to No. 20.

Mizzou is 13-6 overall and 6-6 in the SEC. Meanwhile, South Carolina is 5-10 overall and 3-8 in the conference. Earlier this season - MU beat the Gamecocks 81-70.

Mizzou and South Carolina will tipoff on Saturday at 1 p.m.
