No. 18 Mizzou hangs on to beat Kentucky for second time in program history

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The No. 18 Mizzou men's basketball team beat Kentucky for just the second time in program history on Wednesday night. The Tigers held on for a 75-70 win.

Dru Smith led the Tigers with 26 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

The Tigers had a comfortable 40-27 lead at halftime, but the Wildcats opened the second half on a 15-3 run. MU was able to hold off Kentucky's late comeback to improve to 12-3 overall and 5-3 in the SEC.
