Cardinals officially trade for 8-time Gold Glover Nolan Arenado

ST. LOUIS (KMIZ)

The Cardinals officially traded for 8-time Gold Glove Award winner Nolan Arenado on Monday night.

According to a release from the team, St. Louis will receive Nolan Arenado and cash considerations. In return - Colorado will get pitcher Austin Gomber, infielder Elehuris Montero, pitcher Tony Locey, infielder Mateo Gil and pitcher Jake Sommers.

Arenado is 29-years-old, and he's been an NL All-Star five times. In 2019, he batted .315 with 41 home runs and 118 RBI.
