COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

ORIGINAL: The Department of Health and Senior Services reported 2,137 new COVID-19 cases Sunday.

There have been 449,535 cases reported across the state. Missouri ranked 26th in the nation on Sunday for new cases reported in the past seven day.

DHSS also reported seven new deaths related to the virus. The death toll has risen to 6,548.

There were 2,158 people hospitalized with the virus on Sunday.
