Man sent to University Hospital following serious crash in Moniteau County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports James Bowen, 63, was sent to the hospital after a crash in Moniteau County at 8:36 a.m. Sunday.

MSHP reports Bowen was exiting U.S. 50 at Business 50 and East Junction when he traveled across the roadway, down an embankment and overturned.

Bowen received serious injuries.

He was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by ambulance.
