Tracking a windy Tuesday

TODAY: We’ll be treated to another gorgeous afternoon today! Plenty of sunshine will help temperatures into the low 50’s. The only drawback might be a breeze out of the southwest, but hard to complain given the recent streak of 30’s.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies stick around overnight as lows cool off into the low 30’s.

EXTENDED: We’ll pick up a few more clouds into Wednesday, but it doesn’t look to keep us out of the 50’s. Changes start to move in on Thursday, with more cloud cover and a slight chance at some light rain as a front approaches. It still looks like we’ll manage the upper 40’s on Thursday, as that cold air starts to filter in during the afternoon. It will have a chance to settle in overnight with highs on Friday back in the middle 30’s. Another chunk of energy will ripple through in the cold air and might have enough to kick up some snow showers. Best bet for that would be north of I-70 at this point, but doesn’t appear to be problematic. We’re quiet on Saturday and Sunday but cold. Highs will be stuck in the low to mid 30’s Saturday, warming into the upper 30’s Sunday.
