CAMDENTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

The State Fire Marshall's office alleges a Sunrise Beach man of burglarizing a residence in Camdenton and then setting it on fire.

According to court documents, a fire marshal determined during an investigation a fire was set in three locations inside a residence on the 100 block of N Business Route 5.

Officials say they found household and personal goods removed from the residence and placed on the roof in the rear of the structure.

The fire marshal reports businesses in the area to have video footage of Mark Stripling allegedly entering the home through a window from the roof and placing items on the roof.

Court documents state that among the items placed on the roof are three guns.

The court documents allege Stripling then left the residence through the window as fire can be seen.

A Linn Creek Officer identified Stripling.

Stripling is charged with three counts of stealing a firearm, one count of 2nd-degree burglary and one count of 2nd-degree arson.

Stripling had his bond denied.
