Highway patrol responds to serious crash in Miller County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F has responded to a serious crash in Miller County during its holiday counting period.

According to crash reports the crash happened on U.S. 54 west of Route AA at 2:15 a.m.

The crash occurred as the vehicle was traveling eastbound, and traveled off the left side of the roadway. The driver, 24-year-old Mason Alderman, overcorrected and traveled off the right side of the roadway.

The vehicle than overturned and struck a tree.

Alderman was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by ambulance with serious injuries.
