Mizzou WBB gets back on track with big win over New Orleans

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team dominated New Orleans on Wednesday night. The Tigers beat the Privateers 84-45 to improve to 2-1 on the season.

We spoke with HC Robin Pingeton after the game. You can hear the full interview in the video player below.

Mizzou guard Aijha Blackwell had a game-high 16 points and eight rebounds.

South Carolina transfer LaDazhia Williams finished with 14 points on 6-6 shooting.

All 12 Mizzou players scored in the win - including freshman Jayla Kelly who scored her first career points. Up next - MU will host Oral Roberts on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
