COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

UPDATE: Pizza Tree in downtown Columbia closed its doors for employees to get tested for COVID-19.

According to a Facebook post, the business found out a staff member had tested positive Sunday. The employee had last worked on Dec. 6.

Pizza tree will be closed until all employees are able to get tested.

ORIGINAL: The Department of Health and Senior Services reported 2,694 new Coronavirus cases on Sunday. There have been 345,041 cases reported in Missouri.

Missouri ranks 20th in the nation for new cases reported in the past seven days. DHSS has reported 19,264 new cases in the past seven days.

The state also added eight new deaths to the state dashboard. The death toll has now risen to 4,511. DHSS has reported 92 new deaths in the last seven days. Missouri ranks 18th in the nation for new deaths.

At least 3,333,657 Missouri residents have been tested for the virus.
