Mizzou men’s hoops holds off Liberty

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's basketball team came on strong in the second half to hold off Liberty on Wednesday night. The Tigers beat the Flames 69-60.

We'll have full highlights and reaction at 10 on ABC 17.

It was another balanced scoring attack from the Tigers. Mark Smith finished with 17 points. Dru Smith had 14 points. Xavier Pinson had 11 points and seven rebounds.

The Tigers are off to a 4-0 start for the first time since the 2013-14 season.

Up next - MU will host No. 6 Illinois in the annual Braggin' Rights game on Saturday at 7 p.m.
