Helias football completes undefeated season with state championship

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Helias football team won its first state championship since 1998 on Friday night at Adkins Stadium. The Crusaders beat MICDS 35-30.

Helias capped off its first ever perfect seasons. The Crusaders went 14-0.

"They love each other, they play for each other. They are a tight-knit group," Chris Hentges said.
