QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should people be their own coronavirus contact tracers?
Some local health departments are making people who test positive for coronavirus do their own contact tracing.
Callaway County was the latest to take the investigations out of the hands of health department workers. Cole County made the change earlier this month. Departments who made the change cite an overwhelming number of cases, a long wait time before the health department is notified of new cases and a lack of cooperation.
