Chiefs hold on to beat Carolina

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Chiefs held on to beat the Panthers 33-31 after Carolina's 67-yard field goal attempt as time expired came up empty. Kansas City is now 8-1 on the season.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was 30/45 for 372 yards and four touchdowns. TE Travis Kelce had 10 catches for 159 yards. Meanwhile, WR Tyreek Hill had nine catches for 113 yards and two touchdowns.

Up next - Kansas City has its bye week. The Chiefs will return to action on the road against Las Vegas on Nov. 22.
