Mizzou falls to No. 10 Florida on the road

GAINESVILLE, Fl. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team did not have a happy Halloween at the Swamp. No. 10 Florida dominated the Tigers, 41-17.

Florida QB Kyle Trask ran for as many yards on the ground as the entire Mizzou rushing attack, 47 yards.

Mizzou QB Connor Bazelak struggled to move the offense. He was 26/40 for 208 yards. The redshirt freshman did not throw a touchdown.

Just before halftime - a fight broke out on the field after Mizzou DL Trajan Jeffcoat made a late hit on Kyle Trask. After the game - Mizzou football coach Eli Drinkwitz said it was an ugly scene for college football.

MU is now 2-3 on the season. Meanwhile - the Gators improve to 3-1.

Up next - The Tigers have their bye week. Mizzou will return to action on Nov. 14 at home against Georgia.
