More showers this evening, heavier rain tomorrow, Thursday

TUESDAY: Light rain moving in from the west this afternoon. Light showers could lead to a few slick spots with temperatures hovering around freezing near HWY 65; but major impacts are not expected.  For the rest of mid-Missouri it's a cold rain with temperatures in the upper 30s.

TONIGHT: Any rain leftover tapers off to a drizzle overnight. Temperatures look to only fall into the middle 30’s, so refreezing shouldn’t be a concern.

EXTENDED: We’ll be dry for the first half of Wednesday, but another round of rain is on the way. It looks to move in toward the afternoon and evening, but will stay through Thursday night. Waves of showers will add up to around two to three inches of rain by Friday morning. Things dry out for the final day of the workweek with highs back in the 50’s. Saturday looks to be in the middle 50’s, but we’re going to have to watch a cold front moving through the Upper Midwest. That may bring some cooler weather for Sunday, but looks to stay dry.
