Traffic stop leads to felony drug arrest in Ashland

ASHLAND, Mo. (KMIZ)

On Tuesday, Ashland Police arrested a man after a traffic stop led to a drug seizure.

Officials say the driver admitted to having drug paraphernalia and injecting himself with meth earlier that day.

During a search of the vehicle, the officers discovered syringes containing a liquid that field-tested positive for meth.

Officers arrested Quinn Sheridan on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to court documents, Sheridan is charged with Possession Of Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams Or Less Of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid.

Sheridan posted a $4,500 surety bond after being booked into the Boone County Jail.

Sheridan's next court date is November 9, 2020.
