Mizzou, LSU game moved to Columbia due to Hurricane Delta

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football game against LSU will now be played in Columbia, a source confirms to ABC 17 News. Kickoff will be at 11 a.m. from Faurot Field.

An MU spokesman would not confirm the change, but he tells ABC 17 News an official announcement on the game will come Wednesday at 9 a.m.

Mizzou was originally scheduled to play at LSU on Saturday at 8 p.m. LSU released this statement on Tuesday in regards to Hurricane Delta.

"We are closely monitoring Hurricane Delta and are in close communication with SEC and University of Missouri Athletics officials on contingency plans should they become necessary. At this time, it is too early to make a determination on any impact the storm may have on Saturday’s football game against Missouri. The game remains scheduled for 8pm CT on Saturday in Tiger Stadium. We will continue to update our fans throughout the week as more information becomes available."
