Capital City, Smith-Cotton game canceled due to COVID-19 concerns

SEDALIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Capital City football game against Smith-Cotton is canceled due to COVID-19 concerns with Capital City.

Smith-Cotton had to cancel its game with Battle last Friday due to its own COVID-19 concerns.

JCSD athletic director Ehren Earleywine tells me Capital City will not try to find a new opponent for Friday. The Cavaliers next scheduled game is Oct. 16 on the road against Winnetonka.

Smith-Cotton's next scheduled game is Oct. 16 at Helias.
